To draw this cartoon Pig step by step, follow along with the video tutorial below and pause the video after each step to draw at your own pace. You may find it easier to follow the step-by-step drawings below the video. The new lines in each step are shown in red, so you'll know exactly what to draw next. You may want to open the video in a new tab and use both drawing methods. Take your time and draw at your own pace.

Written step-by-step video tutorial:

For the first few steps, don't press down too hard with your pencil. Use light, smooth strokes to begin.

Step 1: Lightly sketch two small ovals for the cartoon pig's eyes. Sketch lightly so that it's easy to erase if you make a mistake. When you get the shapes right, darken the lines. Inside each eye, draw two tiny circles to represent glare or highlights. Shade in the pig's eyes using a dark value but don't overlap the tiny glare circles.

Step 2: Below the eyes, off to the right, lightly sketch a small, triangular shape for the cartoon pig's snout. Curve the corners of this triangle. When you get the shape right, darken the lines. Inside the snout, draw two tiny circles for the pig's nostrils.

Step 3: Starting to the right of the eyes, draw a line that moves up, and then curves to the left for the pig's head. Notice how high above the eyes the top of the head is and how close to the eye the right side is.

Step 4: On the top, left side, draw a small, triangular shape for the pig's first ear. The top, right corner of the ear shouldn't close. Curve the other two corners slightly.

Step 5: Draw a long, curved line under the snout for the bottom part of the cartoon pig's head. Sketch lightly at first and when you get the shape right, darken the line. Make the sides wide for the cheeks. Pay attention to the distance from the snout.

Step 6: Draw a short, angled line on the top, right side of the head for the pig's other ear.

Step 7: Under the head, draw a long line that curves to the left for the cartoon pig's chest.

Step 8: To the left, draw a line that's similar to a long letter W for the pig's first leg. Near the bottom, draw a short line for the foot.

Step 9: To the right, draw another W-shaped line for the cartoon pig's other front leg and foot.

Step 10: To the left of the first leg, draw a curved, horizontal line for the underside of the pig's body. To the left of that, draw a tall, W-shaped line for the leg. Inside the leg, at the bottom, draw a short line for the pig's hind foot.

Step 11: Draw a long, curved line from the hind leg to the ear on the left for the rest of the pig's body.

Step 12: Under the cartoon pig's body, draw a small W-shaped line for the other hind leg. On the top, left side of the body, draw a spring-shaped line for the pig's curly tail.

Step 13: Using a pen or marker, carefully go over the lines to make your cartoon pig drawing permanent. After inking, get rid of every pencil mark with an eraser.

Final Step: Color your cartoon pig drawing using color pencils, markers or crayons! Use pink for the entire body. Use a slightly darker shade of pink for the snout and feet. Don't forget to pause the video to draw at your own pace.
