Please PAUSE the "How to Draw a Stegosaurus" video after each step to draw at your own pace.
For the first few steps, don't press down too hard with your pencil. Use light, smooth strokes to begin.
Step 1: Draw two circles as guides for the stegosaurus' body. They don't have to be perfect. They're just guides. The circle on the left side should be smaller than the one on the right, and they should be right next to each other.
Step 2: Draw an even smaller circle on the left side as a guide for the stegosaurus' head.
Step 3: Draw an arc on the left side of the stegosaurus' head as a guide for the muzzle.
Step 4: Draw four lines under the stegosaurus' body (two below each circle) as guides for the legs. Bend the lines forward at the ends as guides for the stegosaurus' feet and give the lines in the back an extra bend near the middle.
Step 5: Draw a series of curved lines that connect the major shapes to form the stegosaurus' body.
