For the first few steps, don't press down too hard with your pencil. Use light, smooth strokes to begin so that it's easy to erase if you make a mistake.



Draw Tabby Cat 1

Step 1: Draw two circles as guides for the tabby cat's body. They don't have to be perfect. They're just guides.


Draw Tabby Cat 2

Step 2: Draw a smaller circle above the right one as a guide for the cat's head.

Draw Tabby Cat 3

Step 3: Draw two curved, intersecting lines inside the head. These will help you place the cat's facial features later.

Step 4: Draw two angled lines similar to triangles on either side of the head for the cat's ears.

Step 5: Draw a series of lines that connect the major shapes to form the cat's body.
