Written step-by-step video tutorial:

 

For the first few steps, don't press down too hard with your pencil. Use light, smooth strokes to begin.

 

Step 1: Draw two short, curved horizontal lines for the bottom part of the cartoon pig's eyes. Draw a small arc on top of each line for the top part of the eyes. Sketch lightly at first so that you get the shapes right. You can make the pig's eyes bigger or smaller if you'd like.

 

Step 2: Draw a small dot inside each eye for the pupils. Draw a short, curved line above the eyes for the pig's eyebrows.

Step 3: Below the eyes, draw a big arc for the top part of the nose. Don't draw the pig's nose in the middle between the eyes. Draw it closer to the left side. Add a long curved line below for the bottom part of the nose.

 

Step 4: Inside the pig's nose, draw two small ovals for the nostrils.

 

 

Step 5: Draw a long curved line above the eyes for the top part of the pig's head. Curve the line so that the left end is near the eye on the left.

Step 6: Draw a small arc on the top, right side of the head for the first part of the cartoon pig's ear. Add another line on the right that curves down to form a V shape for the bottom of the ear.

 

Step 7: Use a couple of curved lines on the top, left side to draw the pig's other ear the same way.

Step 8: Draw a long, curved line on the lower, left side for the bottom of the pig's head. Add another curved line on the right but don't connect the two curved lines.

 

Step 9: Inside the pig's head, on the lower, right side, draw a couple of curved lines that form a smile.

 

 

Step 10: Under the head, on the left, draw a long, curved line for the front part of the cartoon pig's body.

Step 11: To the right, draw a couple of short, vertical lines for the first leg. Draw a small, W-shaped line at the bottom for the pig's feet. Add another line above it.

 

Step 12: Draw the pig's leg on the left the same way. A couple of vertical lines with a W-like shape at the bottom.

Step 13: Draw a short, curved line on the right for the bottom part of the cartoon pig's body. To the right of the head, draw a long line that curves down for the back portion of the body.

 

Step 14: Draw the hind leg the same way as the front legs. The pig's other hind leg won't be visible.

 

 

Step 15: Draw the cartoon pig's curly tail by first drawing a short line that curves into itself. Now make the tail thicker by adding a parallel line to the right. Finally add the tip as a curved line at the top.

Step 16: Using a pen or marker, carefully go over the lines to make your cartoon pig drawing permanent. After inking, get rid of every pencil mark with an eraser.

Final Step: Color your cartoon pig drawing using color pencils, markers or even crayons! Use pink for the body and brown for the nostrils and feet. Leave a bit of the feet blank for shine and add some brown on the nose to make it darker.
