For the first few steps, don't press down too hard with your pencil. Use light, smooth strokes to begin so that it's easy to erase if you make a mistake.

Step 1: Draw two curved lines next to each other for this cute chibi wolf's eyes. The lines should look like the letter C on its side. Make the lines thick and dark. Don't place the eyes too close together. Sketch lightly at first so that it's easy to erase if you make a mistake. When you get the shape and position of the eyes right, darken the lines. The eye on the right should be a bit smaller because this cartoon wolf's head will be turned slightly.

Step 2: Under each curved line, draw a circle for the irises. The circle on the left should be closer to the right edge of the wolf's eye than the circle on the right. In the middle of each iris, draw a tiny circle and shade it in for the pupils. Don't make the chibi wolf's pupils too big. Leave big area between the pupils and the edge of the irises.

Step 3: On the sides of each pupil, draw two tiny circles for highlights. You can also just draw one highlight circle on the side of each pupil if you don't have enough room. Above each eye, draw a short, curved, horizontal line for the wolf's eyebrows. Below the eye on the left, draw a small triangle for the nose.

Step 4: Below the nose, draw a wavy line that's similar to a wide letter W for the wolf's mouth. On the left side curve the line up toward the eye to create the muzzle. The top of this line should be very close to the eye. Below the mouth, draw a short, curved line for the chin.

Step 5: On the sides of the face, draw long, curved lines that are made up of tiny spike-like shapes for the cartoon wolf's head. Pay attention to the distance between the lines for the head and the face. The left side of the head should be closer to the face than the right side because the head is slightly turned. Sketch the shape lightly at first. Then darken the lines.

Step 6: On the top, right side, draw a big triangular shape for the cartoon wolf's first ear. Pay attention to how big this ear is in relation to the bottom of the head. Inside the shape, draw a short, curved line for the ear's inner structure. Along the bottom, draw a few spike-like shapes for the furry base of the ear.

Step 7: To the left of the first ear, draw a three small, spike-like shapes for the fur on top of the head. To the left of that, draw another big, triangular shape for the wolf's other ear. Draw this ear slightly thinner than the ear on the right. Inside the shape, draw a short, curved line to give the ear more structure. At the bottom, draw a few spike-like shapes for fur.

Step 8: Under the head, draw a curved line that's made of short, spiky lines for the furry chest. The overall shape of the chibi wolf's chest should be similar to an oval. Don't curve down the shape of the chest too low below the head or the body will be too long.

Step 9: Under the chest, draw two short, cylindrical shapes for the wolf's front legs. Each leg is made up of two short vertical lines for the sides and a shorter horizontal line at the bottom. Pay attention to the sizes of the legs in relation to the head. Keep the shapes short.

Step 10: To the right of the front legs, draw a jagged, horizontal line for the furry underside of the wolf's body. To the right of that, draw the first hind leg. The bottom of the hind leg should be similar in shape to the front legs but shorter. At the top, draw a curved, sloping line for the top part of the leg.

Step 11: Draw a line from the hind leg to the head to create the rest of the cartoon wolf's body. Under the body, draw the hind leg that's on the other side of the body using a cylindrical shape tat's similar to the front legs.

Step 12: On the top, right side of the body, draw the wolf's tail using a series of jagged lines to create a furry texture. Make the bottom of the tail narrow, the middle wide and the top thin and pointy.

Step 13: Go over the lines with a pen or marker to make your chibi cheetah drawing permanent. Take your time and be careful when you ink to avoid any accidents. After the ink dries, get rid of every pencil mark with an eraser.

Final Step: Color your cartoon cheetah drawing using color pencils, markers or crayons! Color the body gray. Leave the area around the eyes, on the lower half of the head, on the chest, on the underside of the body and on the paws blank for white for. Use black for the nose but leave a sliver at the top blank for a highlight. Color the ears pink. Use dark blue for the tops of the irises and light blue for the bottoms so that they look more three-dimensional.
