Step 11: Draw a sloping line that connects to the front of the bottom jaw to finish the open mouth. Make the line wavy and make the inside of the dinosaur's mouth wide. Draw a few more triangular shapes along the edge for the last batch of teeth.
Step 12: Inside the T. rex's mouth, draw the tongue using two curved lines. Don't overlap the teeth.
Step 13: To the right of the eye, draw a curved line for the head and a shorter line for a bit of the neck. At the bottom, draw a long, curved line for the T. rex's muscular lower jaw. To the right, draw a couple of short lines for the neck.
Step 14: Using a pen or marker, carefully go over the lines to make your Tyrannosaurus rex drawing permanent. After inking, get rid of every pencil mark with an eraser.
Final Step: Color your Tyrannosaurus rex drawing using color pencils, markers or crayons! Use green for the top part of the head. Add the color lightly at first and slowly build it up. You can also color you r dinosaur drawing differently if you'd like. Use yellow or light brown for the lower jaw and bottom of the neck. Use light brown for the skin that connects the jaws and dark brown for the inside of the T. rex's mouth. Use brown and pink for the tongue and yellow for the teeth and eye.
