Step 10: Draw the nose inside the muzzle by first lightly drawing a small circle. Draw two darker lines on the sides of the circle for the raccoon's nostrils. Darken the bottom part of the circle using two curved lines to split the nose. Draw the top part using quick, short strokes to indicate fur.
Step 11: Draw the rest of the raccoon's muzzle by using the lower half of the small oval as a guide. Draw a small line under the nose for the mouth. Then draw a longer line made up of quick, short strokes for the lower part of the head.
Step 12: Use the arcs on the raccoon's head as guides to draw the ears. Darken the line for the ears as you follow the path of the arcs and give them more structure. Draw quick, short strokes inside each shape for the fur within the ear.
Step 13: Use the original oval as a guide to draw the rest of the raccoon's head. Use quick, short strokes as you follow the basic path of the oval to give the head a fuzzy texture. The bottom part of the raccoon's head should be wider than the top part near the ears.
Step 14: Use the lines on the left as guides to draw the raccoon's front legs and feet. Lightly sketch the shape of the first leg as you follow the path of the line. When you get the structure right, darken the lines. Draw a few curved lines at the end for the paws. Draw the raccoon's leg on the other side by using the other line as a guide. Draw it the same way by lightly sketching the shape first and only darkening the lines when you get the structure right.
