That's it for the initial sketch! From this point on, press harder with your pencil to get a more defined sketch.

Step 6: Draw the guppy's eye inside the fish's head. The eye is just a circle. Draw a smaller circle inside and shade it in for the pupil. Draw a few lines surrounding the fish's eye for extra detail.

Step 7: Draw the guppy fish's mouth on the left side of the head. Darken the sides of the guppy's mouth. The actual opening of the mouth is similar to the letter y.

Step 8: Draw the rest of the guppy fish's head using the initial line as a guide. Use curved lines for the guppy's head. On the lower right side of the fish's head, draw a curved line for the gill cover.

Step 9: Draw the guppy's pectoral fin inside the main oval. First draw a curved line next to the fish's gill cover for the base. Then draw a shape similar to the guppy fish's tail but smaller. Draw some lines inside it for the detail.
