Step 16: Draw a series of short, triangle-like shapes across the back and tail for the crocodile's spiky skin. Add another row of spikes inside the body, near the top. You can also add a third row below that if you'd like.
Step 17: Using a pen or marker, carefully go over the lines to make your cartoon crocodile / alligator drawing permanent. After inking, get rid of every pencil mark with an eraser.
Final Step: Color your cartoon crocodile / alligator drawing using color pencils, markers or even crayons! Color the top half of the body and the legs yellow-green. Use yellow for the bottom half of the body. You can color your crocodile drawing differently if you'd like. Use brown for the inside of the mouth, pink for the tongue and green for the eye. Don't forget to pause the video to draw at your own pace.
