Step 16: Draw the other hind leg the same way. The top part won't be visible because it's behind the body. The T. rex's leg should be thick at the top and gradually thinner at the bottom. Only two toes should be visible from this angle.
Step 17: Continue drawing the line for the back toward the left to create the top edge of the tail. Add another line below for the bottom edge of the tail. The tail should come to a point on the left. Pay attention to how long the tail is in relation to the rest of the dinosaur's body.
Step 18: Using a pen or marker, carefully go over the lines to make your Tyrannosaurus rex drawing permanent. After inking, get rid of every pencil mark with an eraser.
Final Step: Color your Tyrannosaurus rex drawing using color pencils, markers or even crayons! Use brown for a light base on the body. Now add green over the brown. You can use a single color all over the body for a simpler drawing. Add more light brown and blend the colors together. You can color your dinosaur drawing any way you'd like. Use dark red or brown for the inside of the mouth, pink for the tongue and yellow for the eye. You can also add random stripes all over the body using dark brown.
